MEET OUR COUNSELOR
Steve Thomas, MS, LIMHP
Steve’s approach to therapy is an interpretive depth psychology, which involves a psychodynamic and experiential focus on what lies beyond the language of our emotions. A companion in the journey of self-exploration offers introspection; in relationships, a voice of interpretation. Steve has a depth of life experience to draw from in proctoring such companionship. At the apex of life, the loss of a son, a marriage, a career, and most importantly, the potential of life unlived; dreams unfulfilled have molded Steve’s inner presence. This is soul work. Prepared by the vulnerability of his story, Steve holds insight and compassion for those whose burdens must be eased into, passed through, and reborn into new purpose, for the quality of our life is in our overcoming. Navigating the troubled waters of depression, anxiety, relational fissures, self-worth, grief, and ambivalent passages of self-awareness is the first threshold of a healing journey. A graduate of Bellevue University, Steve holds a master’s degree in Clinical Counseling. Feel free to email Steve here and inquire if he is a good fit for you.
