MEET OUR INTERN THERAPIST
Shaylyn Wright
Shay Wright is an intern therapist who takes a warm, collaborative approach to counseling, working with clients to create an empowering space where they feel truly heard and supported. While she has a special passion for working with children, adolescents, and young adults (ages 8–25) as they navigate anxiety, school-related stress, and life transitions, Shay welcomes the opportunity to work with individuals across the lifespan facing everyday challenges.
Drawing from her background as a School Counselor, Shay has a deep understanding of how life’s various pressures (whether academic, professional, or social), can impact a person’s overall well-being. She strives to build strong, trusting relationships with her clients, working alongside them to untangle complex emotions, foster resilience, and build practical coping skills.
Shay earned her Master of Education in School Counseling from Doane University. She is currently completing her clinical internship through the University of Nebraska Omaha as part of her training toward Clinical Mental Health Counselor licensure.
