As an Intern Therapist, I am passionate about serving my community by promoting positivity, hope, and self-empowerment while offering compassionate care. I strive to see the whole person, honor cultural diversity, and emphasize mindfulness—ensuring that each client feels truly seen, heard, and valued.

I enjoy working with individuals across the lifespan—from childhood and adolescence through adulthood—and appreciate the diverse transitions, generational experiences, and strengths that shape our lives. I also work with couples seeking support through marriage counseling and relationship challenges.

My therapeutic approach blends Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients manage overwhelming emotions, build stronger emotional connections, develop coping strategies, and collaboratively set goals for a more balanced, fulfilling life. I bring a humorous, realistic, and down-to-earth energy to my work, creating a safe and supportive space for healing and growth.

I earned my B.S. in Organizational Communication from Bellevue University and am currently pursuing licensure in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the same institution. My approach is deeply informed by decades of life experience, including marriage, parenting, grief, corporate life, and the performing arts—allowing me to bring a grounded sense of empathy and perspective to my work.

I also facilitate The Circle of Security Parenting™ program at Arbor Family Counseling. This program is ideal for anyone looking to deepen their understanding of attachment and the emotional needs underlying children’s behavior—from infants to teens.
