MEET OUR INTERN THERAPIST
Libby Collins
Hello! I am an Intern Therapist passionate about serving my community by promoting positivity, hope, and self-empowerment while offering compassionate care. I aim to see the whole person, honor cultural diversity, emphasize mindfulness, and ensure my clients feel truly seen and heard. I enjoy working with individuals of all ages—childhood, adolescence, and adulthood—and value the diverse life transitions and generational vulnerabilities and strengths that shape us.
Using a variety of therapeutic approaches, such as Solution-Focused Therapy and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), I help clients simplify overwhelming feelings, develop coping strategies, and collaboratively set goals for well-being and balance. My humorous, realistic, and personable energy fosters a safe space and strong therapeutic relationships.
I earned a B.S. in Organizational Communication from Bellevue University and am currently pursuing my licensure in Mental Health Clinical Counseling at the same institution. With several decades of life experiences, including marriage, parenting, grief, corporate life, and performance arts, I bring a deep sense of empathy and understanding.
