Abbie Sivinski
Abbie is a compassionate and dedicated clinical therapy intern with over four years of
experience as a high school counselor. She is passionate about supporting children,
adolescents, and young adults in navigating the complexities of life and developing the tools they need to thrive. Abbie works with clients ages 8 and up, providing a safe, empathetic space where they can explore their challenges, build coping strategies, and cultivate resilience in the face of life’s difficulties.
With an undergraduate degree in Business and Communications from Arizona State University and a Master’s in School Counseling and Preventive Mental Health from Creighton University, Abbie has a well-rounded educational background that informs her therapeutic approach. Currently, she is pursuing her clinical license at the University of Nebraska at Omaha, further deepening her expertise in mental health care.
Abbie uses a range of evidence-based interventions, including mindfulness, person-centered
therapy, psychoeducation, solution-focused therapy, and active listening to support her clients. She firmly believes that the most effective way to help individuals is to meet them where they are, guiding them at a pace that feels sustainable while building a trusting, respectful therapeutic relationship. Abbie is driven by a desire to challenge others toward innovative solutions, self-advocacy, and lasting change.
