MEET OUR COUNSELOR
Wendy Everson, MS, LMHP, LPC
As a mental health professional seasoned by years of practical lived-and-learned experience in family and community settings, Wendy is here to walk alongside adults as hurts are healed and lives are transformed for the better. You are not alone in your challenges, and you do not have to carry your strains and stresses by yourself. With patience and consistency, my clients can develop a better sense of self, live in healthier relationships, and grow in confidence while focusing on their strengths to find balance in all aspects of their lives. Life transitions can present both obstacles and opportunities as we age. Studying the aging process, Wendy is able to help you develop practical tools and skills to support healthy growth throughout the life cycle. You deserve a positive life experience supported by a companion who accompanies you as you meet the challenges on your life’s journey. This companion can help you find balance in the ebb and flow of life.
Wendy earned her Master of Science degree in Mental Health Counseling and Certification in Gerontology from the University of Nebraska-Omaha, and joined Arbor Family Counseling in 2015.
Wendy utilizes a broad range of therapies, including cognitive behavior, solution-focused and person-centered, and specializes in aging and life transitions, caregiving issues, spirituality, grief, depression and anxiety, couples and relationship challenges, parenting, and women’s issues.
