Claire understands that asking for help is a hard step to take. For that reason, she keeps a positive, judgement free environment for her clients to feel welcomed and accepted. She understands that each person is different and uses person-centered therapy to tailor the sessions towards the client and their own personal goals. She implements cognitive behavioral therapies to identify and alter negative thoughts that may influence our thinking and behaviors. She also practices techniques from solution-focused and mindfulness to help her clients reach their full potential. Claire has experience working with areas including, but not limited to: Anxiety, depression, behavioral concerns, stress, family conflict, life transitions, LGBTQIA+, and grief/loss. She has a passion for working with children, teens, and young adults. Her goal as a therapist is to help clients achieve their own independence, and to gain skills that help them cope with current and future issues.
